CWEB 254 - Web Security and Ethical Issues

3 hrs (Sem I, II)
The widespread use of electronic commerce has introduced problems resulting from difficulties of implementing programmatic issues and concerns that relate to the security of data and individual privacy. The course will present available tools and techniques that are being implemented to protect data on the Web and will raise related ethical issues. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in COMP 107 .
