CORR 240 - Institutional Security
3 hrs (Sem I)
This course emphasizes organization, supervision, and administration of control services. Students will be introduced to institutional security through discussions of problems characteristic to institutions such as rioting, food strikes, crime scene preservation, weapons and drug identification, and the use of force. Different types of control will be examined (non-lethal weapons, confinement, etc.) and discussed in detail. 3 lecture hours.
