CORR 155 - Legal Trends in Corrections

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course is designed to acquaint corrections students with the American Correction Association’s Standards, proper procedures for giving Miranda Warnings, search and seizure, title 1983 requirements, civil litigations and a broad view of the current trends in correctional case law and happenings in the field of corrections. 3 lecture hours.
