ASLG 210 - American Sign Language Literature

3 hrs (Sem I)
The course introduces multidisciplinary and intersectional concepts and issues found in the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture. Students participate in in-depth discussions of the following topics: emergence of American Sign Language, history of education, and the beliefs, values and customs of the sociolinguistic/linguistic/cultural minority. 3 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in ASLG 103 , ASLG 111 , and ASLG 206 .
