The course will take an integrated approach in developing listening and reading comprehension skills, pronunciation, writing, and grammar skills. Varied activities will include projects, journals, compositions, video presentations, discussions and dialogues, cultural and educational trips, lab time, and homework. Authentic and academic material will be incorporated. This course is repeatable until successful completion with a FOCAL score of 84% or higher. Eighteen class hours per week (four-week course).
