HSPS 425 - Supervision/Management

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the fundamentals of supervision and management as it relates to the homeland security and public safety profession. Students will study the processes involved as well as the functions of each as they relate to the overall success of the organization. Among topics to be discussed are organizational applications, individual’s behavior, communications within the organization and the skills necessary for successful grant writing. 3 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): Junior level standing or consent of the instructor.
